The server host I’m using recently migrated my website over to a different server to increase loading times (this was done at the hosts discretion and I was only told when it was finished). While this is all well and good and worked for a few days, now my WordPress install is acting very weird.

Basically, the original permalinks call the old IP and as a result whenever I try to login to the dashboard, it times out. However, if you visit the site, all the database information is pulled in, but the CSS is dropped, so I have content but no styling and no way to access the dashboard. I’ve tried everything I can think of and have no clue what to do to fix the issue.

The site can be viewed here. When it loads the site, you’ll notice that it’s connecting to ip: 97.74.142.121 while the new ip is: 97.74.186.227. It also takes a long time to load the page (if it does load it).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    – Heath

  • Might check your home and siteurl values in your wp_options database.

    Michael,

Thanks for that link. I spent a good four hours last night trying to find where I could make that change and using that information I was able to fix part of the problem in under five minutes. While I’ve still got some errors to work through, that definitely helped me out tremendously!

    Thanks again,
