Server Permission Denied Error – No events showing

Thank you for your help. I have done both of those things, and it has not changed anything with our issue. (we have gone live with the website so the urls have changed to those listed below)

Do you use a shortcode?

The main events page uses the shortcode [ai1ec view=”posterboard”] on it.

I’m not sure how that would have any affect to actually viewing individual event listings, though. To view those I am going into Events > All Events > and then clicking “view” to view that individual listing. That is when I get a blank white page.

Please edit wp-config.php file (in the WordPress root folder) and modify line:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
to
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Then please navigate to your event page. It should produce useful trace information.

I deleted all of the old data that I had imported from another website and added a test event, and it worked! But we are still getting a php error on the single events page.

Also – do you have a suggestion for how I can transfer the data from the old site https://cartersvilleevents.org/ over to the new site without using WordPress traditional export of posts? That is the way I did it last time, and obviously there is some issue with bad data.

It seems that there is some kind of issue with your WP theme, it would be best to contact the theme author.

You can use the “Subscribe” button: https://time.ly/document/user-guide/using-calendar/exporting-events-calendar/ and import feed into a new calendar https://time.ly/document/user-guide/using-calendar/importing-events-calendars/. This way you can not transfer the past events, so you can also transfer the database tables: wp_term_relationships, wp_term_taxonomy, wp_terms(Categories and Tags) and single event is stored in wp_posts, wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances tables.

I just wanted to send you an update to let you know that we ended up being able to transfer some of the data via iCal, but the images and dates did not transfer. After much deliberation we decided to go with a different calendar altogether because of the issues and views that the client wanted. Thank you for your help.
