There is some background process (triggered by the Sensei LMS plugin) that basically involves processing all the users in the database. The plugin creates one action, processes it, and when it finishes it creates a new action for the next user.

The problem is that process (which in our server lasts more than 1 hour giving that we have more than 50K users) is consuming all the server RAM memory eventually bringing it down.

I think that the AS foresee some kind of mechanism to avoid this from happening, but maybe it is not working or it needs to be tweaked.

Could you please give me guidance on this matter? Thanks.

  • Hi @mdifelice – are you possibly seeing an action timeout? You can find out by going to: Tools > Scheduled Actions, then find the action that did not complete due to memory.

Yes, I have identified the action but the problem is why the AS is taking that much memory.

Hey @mdifelice – sorry for the delay in replying to you!

Since this originated with the Sensi LMS plugin, have you had a chance to speak with the team there about this?

Also, can you let if your hosting company are able to shed any light on this?

If you use WooCommerce on the same site, are you able to share the Server environment section of the Status Report?

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, please let us know!

Sorry Joey I did not answer before, but the issue was not solved. I haven’t got time yet to gather the information Doug requested.
