    Hello
    I have a question
How far can I rely on wordfence security apart from server security?
I mean if hosting server ddos attack protection and server firewall both or one of it are not strong?
    best regards

Hi @makmerghen, thanks for dropping us a message.

We have a wide range of customers with various server configurations running their WordPress installations, often with firewalls and other protection methods provided by their host at server level too.

Wordfence primarily provides an endpoint firewall, malware scanner and other features such as brute force protection and www.ads-software.com repository checks to ensure WordPress and its plugins haven’t been altered from their latest versions.

You may find the following links helpful to understand more about the specific areas you mention in your post:

    Thanks,

    Peter.
