• Hello,

for this website we have 3 errors:

-Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for InitiateCheckout Event
Your server is sending an invalid email, external_id, fbp, fn, ip_address parameters value for your InitiateCheckout event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

-Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewContent Event
Your server is sending an invalid country, ct, email, external_id, fn, ln, phone, st parameters value for your ViewContent event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

-Same event ID received for many event instances
You’re sending the same event ID for many instances of your ViewCategory events. Event IDs are unique identifiers that are used to deduplicate identical events received from your pixel and the Conversions API so they’re not counted twice. To ensure that Facebook is accurately counting your events, each unique event instance needs its own unique event ID.
This may cause issues with the measurement of your events and the attribution of your ad campaigns.

We have 3 System Users we think are made by Facebook for Woocommerce

    Conversions API System User

    Partner Created System User

    WooCommerce Integration System User`

  • Hi there @colyz93

    Thanks for your question!

We have a handful number of reports about the issue Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for (EventNameHere) heckout Event.

There are a few factors that might have caused this:

    1) – Possibly on the browser side used by your the visitors of your website, there are browser adds on that might break the pixel events generated by the plugin so data aren’t sent to Facebook completely. Like browser addons used to block tracking codes/ads

    2) – Also caching plugins can affect it

    3) – More than one plugin handling Facebook pixel are used

The possible solutions would be either:

    1) – Click ignore on the Facebook side temporarily, to stop getting this warning, more over if you don’t run paid ads, as we’re working to narrow down what might have caused this

    2) – Clear caching and transient data by going to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)

    3) – Force full sync all your products manually by going to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, click Sync Product

    4) – If that still doesn’t resolve, you can disable Facebook pixel generated by our plugin.

    I hope that helps!
