While setting up events on website, i am getting below errors

    1. Your server is sending an invalid ip_address parameters value for your ViewCategory event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

    2. Your server is sending an invalid ip_address parameters value for your ViewContent event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

I want to know, how i can fix it.

    Hi there,

Your server is sending an invalid ip_address parameters value for your ViewCategory event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.

That sounds like the fb pixel installation might be slightly off. But let’s try and rule out browser interference first.

Can you try setting up an event using a Google Chrome Incognito window. Does that change anything?

    Kind regards,

I already set up events like add to cart, purchase, initiate checkout but not done anything with category event. So, what you want me to do?

    Hi @jaipur1264,

Pixel problems can sometimes be diagnosed using the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension. Please give that a try and see if it helps track down the problem.

Additionally, please confirm that the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is installed on the site and that there are no other plugins adding Facebook Pixel code to the site.

If the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is installed, and no other plugins are adding Facebook Pixel code, please deactivate all other plugins and activate the default Storefront theme. Then, check the event diagnostics in Facebook.

If that’s inconclusive, we strongly recommend reaching out to the Facebook team for further help tracking down the problem.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
