I logged into my WordPress site and received a SERVER STATE error notification from Wordfence for over a week. In my scan, the Server State (Yellow Triangle error) showed, making it impossible to backup my websites.

I performed numerous scans and adjustments, and I still get the Server State error on my main site and additional wordpress sites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @aownews

    Scan stages are explained here:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/#scan-stages

    Server State

Scan for unauthorized DNS changes (discontinued)
    Monitor disk space
Scan for misconfigured How does Wordfence get IPs
PHP Version Check (Can not be disabled)
    Check Web Application Firewall status
Check for paths that are not scanned by default

You can then check the accompanying scan results here:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/scan-results/

Nothing listed here will prevent you from backing up your website. Are you using a backup plugin? If you are, does the backup plugin work when Wordfence is deactivated?
