• Hi All,

Does Google Site Kit offer a server to server integration for GA4 and Google Ads?

I noted that in the info it references an API but can’t see this under WooCommerce REST or Legacy API pages.

The main issue I have is that Google Ads is set up to use GA4 events. While simple, it doesn’t support enhanced conversions and is subject to MTA. Having a direct integration be best as it can use zero/first party data?

Thanks for getting in touch @topps. Site Kit uses the various service APIs to pull data into the Site Kit dashboard. It doesn’t offer an external API for users to pull data from any Site Kit resource, although the same API’s that Site Kit uses are public and available for all.

Site Kit does support enhanced conversion tracking for popular plugins, while also supporting enhanced measurement to collect additional events.

Let me know if you have any additional questions on this and I’d be happy to assist. Thank you.

    Hi @jamesosborne

I was not focused on the pulling of data into Site Kit (ie; connected services), which is convenient.

But rather the pushing of event/conversion and audience data into Google Ads for campaign optimisation.

Meta has their Conversion API in their plugin. It seems like Google is missing an opportunity.

Thanks for the additional insights @topps, apologies for the confusion. We are working on deeper integration with Google Ads, with some recent updates including some purchase related data available as key metrics (link).

Many of the primary WooCommerce related events such as add_to_cart and purchase can already be tracked using Site Kit alone, with these events sent to Google Ads and Analytics. Are there any other specific events that you are looking to have captured? If so I’d be happy to check this with the team.
