    Hi there!

I have added the new tax under “Standard Tax” and named it “Service Fee,” and I can see the exact same name appearing on the checkout.
To assist you further, could you please share a screenshot of where you have set the service tax and named it “Service Fee”? you can use the following tool for the screenshot:https://snipboard.io

Also, could you please provide the site URL so that we can investigate further? Thank you!

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. Currently, all settings appear to be correct in your screenshot.

To assist you further, could you please create a staging site, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, and activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Five? Then, check if you still experience the same issue.

For more details on how to run a conflict test, you can refer to this article:
    How to Test for Conflicts

If you still face the same issue after deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and using a default WordPress theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Five), I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share the System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status.

Please use?https://pastebin.com/?or?https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    Hi @vigwe,

Thank you for the screenshot. Please provide the link to your staging site so we can run tests on our end.

Additionally, share the System Status Report (SSR) of the staging site by navigating to:
WooCommerce > Status > Get Report > Copy for Support.

Also, check the Logs tab for any fatal error logs or WooCommerce-related errors and share them via Pastebin.

    Hi there!

Thank you for going through the troubleshooting steps. I have found the issue—if the “Display tax totals” option is set to Single total, it replaces the tax title with “VAT.” However, if it is set to Itemized, the correct tax title is displayed.

Could you please go to WooCommerce → Settings → Tax → Tax options and scroll to the bottom of the page? You’ll find the “Display tax totals” setting there. Please set it to Itemized and check if the issue persists.

Let me know how that goes!

    This resolved the issue.
