    Hello,

here is a short description of the issue I’m facing.

The Provendi website uses the SendCloud platform for managing shipping. One of the shipping method proposed to customers is Relay point. To synchronize the Relay point address between WooCommerce and SendCloud, we have to use the “Service Point Delivery” method of WooCommerce.

Also, we use 2 different carriers : Colissimo (for domestic shipping) and DHL (for international shipping). Thanks to the Colissimo shipping method for the relay points, we set price based on products weight.

The problem with the “Service Point Delivery” method is that we can not add price based on weight. We can only set a unique price :

I’ve tried 2 plugins to add price based on weight (“Flexible shipping” and “Weight based price”) but the two create new shipping methods which is not a solution for us because we have to use the “Service Point Delivery” method.

What could be a solution is to extend the capacities of the “Service Point Delivery” method by adding the possibility to add prices based on weight.

I’m looking for solutions. Any ideas will be accepted ??

    Hi @schemastudio

Unfortunately, the Service Point Delivery method doesn’t support weight-based pricing natively.

However, there’s a possible workaround. You can use a plugin like WooCommerce Advanced Shipping or Table Rate Shipping, which allows you to set up complex shipping rules based on various conditions, including weight.

You can set up a rule that checks if the Service Point Delivery method is selected and then apply the weight-based rates. This way, you’re not creating a new shipping method but merely adding a condition to an existing one.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
