Service progress lookup for customers

I am looking for a plugin where a customer can go to the website, enter in a unique code and see the progress of work on their vehicle. I was thinking one of the shopping plugins might work for this but was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin that had similar functionality. I don’t need ordering, credit card stuff or anything like that. Any ideas? Thanks
