Service Unavailable Issue

Hi @ace_eca. I’m sorry you’re getting service unavailable errors on your site.

To clarify, where are you seeing these errors? Do you see them in the logs, are are you unable to access certain parts of your site?

Can you post your system status report? You can find that by going to WooCommerce > Status in your dashboard, then clicking “Get system report,” then “Copy for support.”

Hi @ace_eca. Thanks for the additional information.

I went to your checkout page, but I wasn’t able to see a 503 error in the console there (or any other errors, for that matter). I checked the cart page as well and tried with both an empty and a full cart, but everything seemed to work fine. Do you still see the error when you visit the page?

A 503 implies that your site’s own server wasn’t ready to handle the request, which we typically only see if there’s something happening on the hosting side of things, like a large spike in traffic or server maintenance. Was your site or hosting provider experiencing heavy traffic when this happened, or was anything down for maintenance then that you know of?

You are correct, everything seems to be working fine up until you reach the https://www.u-yogi.co.uk/checkout/ Then when you check the T&C and use the “Proceed to PayPal” that is when I get an error – Service Unavailable?? Could you please try this and see what you can find as to what is causing this or where this may be occurring.

Hi @ace_eca, thanks for the clarification. Yes, I was able to see the 503 error following those steps.

Do you see any fatal errors in your fatal error logs that match up to when this problem started? To check, go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs in your dashboard, open the dropdown by the “View” button, and look for any logs with “fatal-errors” in the name and an appropriate date. If so, could you copy the contents of the log into pastebin.com, click “Create new paste,” and then share the link so that we could take a look?
