• Hi all,

i am running plug in in my live site. However no matter what i do, changes i made on my website is not reflected in the user clients.

I tried deleting the plugin, reinstalling, changing to another PWA plugin, changing settings, everything in between.

    Nothing changes.

I have a number of users already installed.. does it mean that they are now considered orphaned?

Anyone with any idea please let me know.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Dear @nico_martin do you think it’s feasible to add a version change feature to force update all existing service workers and their caches?

It will solve my issue of start page not updating and also helps in things like new icons or descriptions etc. ( like an app update )

To give context, my website is a reference guide. Every time I add a new entry, the start page should reflect the new entry so that user can click. Hope this clarifies.

It will be great if we have a function like a button in the plugin to click and initiative an update for all users.

Thanks for your great work thus far.

    Hi @confusedkoala

Are you using any serverside caching plugins?
As I can see the settings look alright and the content should be updated on every request. So there is no need to update the ServiceWorker.

    Kind regards,
    Nico
