Good day I installed Complainz and is busy with the setup process, All content I add saves, but the services section does not want to save. When i press Save and Continue nothing happens, when i press save nothing happens as well, all other options works fine. What am I doing wrong or missed?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello @zoraxx,

That’s strange indeed. Going by your description of the issue, this only occurs when trying to save settings on the “Services” page of the Wizard, other pages work fine?

Would you be able to try replicating the issue with Complianz as the only activated plugin on your website? Please also try the behavior once more after temporarily enabling a default WordPress theme, such as one of the “Twenty Twenty-” themes.

If the issue still persists after the above steps: could you navigate to this page once more, open the browser’s Developer Tools -> Console whilst on this page, and attach a screenshot of any errors that you see appearing in the “Console” section? (Shortcut for opening the DevTools Console in Google Chrome on Windows: Ctrl + Shift + J)

We haven’t had any other reports about this, so we’re very curious to hear what might’ve been able to cause the issue on your environment. Let us know if there are any updates!

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Good day Jarno,

“That’s strange indeed. I deactivated all plugins except Compainz and used the Twenty Twenty Theme as suggested. Unfortunately it still doesn’t work. I have uploaded a screenshot for you https://postimg.cc/gXrJG5wS

I also reinstalled a fresh copy of WordPress to see if there might have been an issue but it does the same thing. The first few errors in the list, the admin.php error shows the following url (i just removed the actual domian name) https://developmentserverurl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=cmplz-wizard&step=2&section=4

    Hi @zoraxx,

I’ve been trying to replicate the behavior on a clean install, but no luck yet.

But as it seems that the issue does persist on your end, even on a fresh WordPres install, this would indicate to me that it might be related to the browser you’re using; more specifically an extension in that browser.

Would it be possible for you to give this another try, but in a fresh Incognito window in your browser in which no browser extensions are activated?

I’m curious to hear if that resolves the issue for you.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Same here. I can not save the services part, so it’s impossible to finish the wizard. Also incognito the same problem.

The only difference with other websites where we use Complainz, it’s a multi-site WordPress installation.
    Can that be the issue?

    Good day jarnovos,

I tried using incognito mode but still did not work, I then tried a different browser, and the settings were saved. so not sure if it’s something on my end or a chrome issue, as I only have a screenshot extension installed on chrome.

    Hello @zoraxx and @fenjwebcreation,

I’ve tried this with the latest Chrome version, on a WP Multisite installation with Complianz Free 6.4.1, but I do not get any such warnings or errors during the “Services” step of the Wizard yet.

Would it be possible to send an export of your Complianz settings to support(at)complianz.io, so that we can try replicating the behavior when we’re using the exact same Complianz configuration?

As @zoraxx indicates that it works in a different browser, that might indicate that it’s related to something in the browser itself (could be an add-on/extension).

    Kind regards, Jarno
