Thanks in advance, I have reviewed similar posts and followed the instructions provided by EWWW unfortunately I can’t get the WebP conversion working and would appreciate assistance. I have activated the “jpg/png to webp” and “force webp” checkbox in settings and after reloading on the right bottom the green webp image appears. My website is running on a shared APACHE server, PHP 7.3, latest WordPress version and Divi theme. I use Swift Performance Lite for caching and optimization and have tested with cache enabled and disabled but to no success. I am not using a CDN. Happy to provide logs or any further info to resolve this issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

First question, why are you using Force WebP option if you do not use a CDN?

Second, did you run a bulk optimize after enabling JPG/PNG to WebP? Again, without a CDN in the mix here, I strongly recommend disabling Force WebP.

    Thanks for the speedy reply.
I was using Force WebP option because the configuration was not serving WebP images and that was the last config I tried.

Unchecked Force WebP and ran the bulk optimize, that did the trick, much appreciated.
I suggest adding the tip of running a bulk optimize after enabling WebP conversion, may save some people a lot of time.

There is indeed supposed to be an admin notice immediately after enabling WebP conversion for the first time, but that’s a very recent addition, so would only run if you are on the latest 5.1 series of EWWW IO. And since it only shows up once, its possible to miss it entirely ??
