• When I access my self-hosted site using [ redundant link removed ], I can only access the home page. If I click on any of the content links from this page, I get the following “404” message:

The requested URL /name-of-content-page-or-post/ was not not found on this server.

I am using Apple Server 5.6.1 on an iMac using macos High Sierra. I have researched this issue for a long time and tried so many different solutions, and none of them work. I can access my admin page through https just fine, but the content pages or posts can only be accessed through http. Does anyone know why this will not work? When I use plain permalinks, https works, and I can access content pages and posts. When I use post-name permalinks, this problem occurs. I would appreciate any help with this since I have given up trying solve it on my own! Thanks!

Also, if someone tries to access my site using https, they will not be able to access any content pages or posts unless they “forget” the site on Firefox or clear the history and caches on Chrome. This is probably turning people away from my site since they won’t want do the extra work of getting to the http page. I don’t know if it is the SSL cert or something else
