The option we have based on user session is, that at Slides tab of the slider’s settings:

there is a “Maintain session” option. This will store on which slide the user was, so if the user will go to a different page with the same slider, or if he/she will leave your website and go back, then the slider will continue from the same slide where the user was.
So the user won’t go to a different slide, but the same slide will appear. And you could use for example the Autoplay option:

to make your slider switch automatically, in case the user won’t switch slides manually.
Another option could be the Randomize:

where the user would see a random slide, so in this case there is a big chance that a different slide will show up upon visiting the same slider.
