Session cookie expire not working – could it be W3 Total Cache settings?

    I would like the user to be prompted to enter the password again when:
    1) User closes the browser window/ tab AND
    2) After a certain amount of time (don’t want people who keep their window open to be able to access content after a day or so)

    I have:
    1) Added the ?ppws=1
    2) My default cookie expiration time is set to 5 seconds

    However, I remain logged in even after I close out the browser completely. Please help. I am using W3 Total Cache and CloudFlare CDN. Can you please describe the ideal settings required to achieve desired outcome? Thank you!

    Our PPWP Free works perfectly with the W3 Total Cache plugin without any extra configurations.

    It could be a cache issue with Cloudflare though.
