• Hi,

Customers are being double charged for orders placed on our site. When we placed an order ourselves to investigate, we were met with a “Session Expired” message (in plain text, Web 1.0 style) upon clicking Place Order. We then clicked the Back button to return to the cart – but before trying agin, I went and checked the back end, and lo and behold – the order had been placed.

This is kind of a big deal. Help?

  • Your theme seems to be Maya Shop version 2.3.0 but the current version is 2.6.0. See the changelog tab. That may not solve the problem but its a lot of fixes so its a good place to start. Back up before updating.

    Hi lorro,

Thanks for the reply. Didn’t realize my theme was out of date. Just updated. It didn’t fix the issue, but it’s up to date now, at least.

Still getting a Session Expired error message, along with a bulleted list of errors that say required fields weren’t completed. They were.

Any other ideas? This seems to have started when I updated to the latest version of Woocommerce.

In Admin page / Settings / General, have you got the WordPress Address (URL) exactly the same as Site Address (URL).

    Sure do.

Both https since that’s the domain that sets the cookie?
