• Now this is happening: I installed a brand new version of WP 3.5 through the automatic service offered by my host (All pre-requsites are ok, php5+, latest software bla,bla it’s NOT the host)
Now, I installed NO plugins, done nothing on the site. Logged in the first time fine. When I go to Theme settings to change appearance, example, upload a background image, works, BUT when I try to save it the login screen pops up asking to login again.. upon doing that I get another screen “session expired, login again.. why? Because if I simply enter the URL www…blabla.com/wpress/wp-admin/ it goes back to the Admin Dashboard and I am logged in! It’s ok for me BUT I want to present the site to a client who knows nothing.. they are going to freak out having to use this sort of carry on.. has anyone found an answer becasue this issue seems to be ongoing…

Thanks for the response. I need another solution because I have a lot of autosaved password, autocomplete sites that I want to keep on my laptop. If I clear cookies I need to start again with those… anyway, if there is no solution other than clearing cookies, I might have to live with that.. reminds me not to expect too much of free programs.. cheers, Groggo

Clear only the WP site cookies. Look in your browser prefs.
