Session Expired: Please Log In Again

    Ever since I have updated to WordPress 4.2.1, I get the following message when I try to edit a page. This message does not occur when I am editing basic settings, like menu colors, etc. As soon as I start editing a page, wordpress logs me out and says: “Session Expired: Please log in again”

    Needless to say, when I try to log in again, it fails and I have to go incognito and try to log in again. I am able to log in after a few minutes but get the same error as soon as I try editing a page.

    I have tried everything mentioned on the forums. What seems to be causing this issue?

  • Hi,

    A couple things to try. First, clear all your browser cookies. Second, temporarily deactivate all your plugins and see if the problem persists.
