Here is the issue.

In Sandbox Mode:
In this mode when I enter my API from PayPal developer acc. and do a test transaction. It goes to PayPal and when I log in to PayPal with my sandbox details, It logs me in and then just say Return to Merchant. That’s, it does nothing else, No order confirmation nothing.

When I do not log in with my sandbox buyer details and try to use sandbox card associated with that user (without logging in). It says please use a different card.
So I am not able to complete the transaction in sandbox mode.

In LIVE Mode:
When I use LIVE details and go to checkout with PayPal. and instead of login to PayPal I choose card details and once I filled my card details it goes to the old look of PayPal and says -“Your session timed out, try again”

When I try again on that page. It again shows the same message.

# I am using an external plugin for PayPal Express Checkout.

You’re using an external plugin..?? Does that mean you’re using a different plugin than ours? I’m a little confused by that statement.

@spectramynd, Thansk for sharing the details.
The sesssion timeout is not something related to us or paypal, seems like your browser issue, can you disable all of your browser extensions then try again.

Also, try using a different browser like internet explorer and Firefox ( normal mode not private browsing ) then check again.

Let me know what you got after that.

@angelleyesupport: I agree and completely understand that. That’s why I do the WordPress backend work in a normal browser window and do the front end testing in a different private window. But still, in the sandbox mode, I see “Return to Merchant” when I try to check out.

@spectramynd, We are not getting any reports of this from others so this means something interesting is going on with your case. I see you are at our ticket system as well. I will continue this conversation there.
