Sessions_start Error

  • Hi Im seeing the below error on our website, the error, Ive checked PHP version (8.0) , turned off all plugin and changed to a default theme, with no change in the error.

    Warning: session_start(): open(/var/lib/php/sessions/sess_aa0fefc67fbfa5a9b2f68d23b9076f02, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in?/var/www/vhosts/domain-name.ie/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/limit-login-attempts-reloaded/core/LimitLoginAttempts.php?on line?511

    Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/lib/php/sessions) in?/var/www/vhosts/domain-name.ie/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/limit-login-attempts-reloaded/core/LimitLoginAttempts.php?on line?511

    We believe the issue is local to your server. Most likely the session file could not be read due to incorrect permissions or paths. If you’re still having the issue, please ask your hosting provider to fix this at the server level.
