So to buy anything from our shop users need be signed up first. so after people signed up and logged in when they reach the checkout page after adding some products to the cart, we need the billing fields to be automatically filled. by default every other fields get filled rather than country. is there a workaround for this?

  • Hi there @dc47

Thank you for reaching out! From what I gather, the Country/Region field is not populated in the store’s Checkout page, despite having all billing details entered previously. Correct?

I went ahead with trying to reproduce this, on a test installation of mine, with WooCommerce 7.4.0 and the Storefront theme active. Everything worked as expected, with all billing field details filled-in.

Just to clarify, the issue persists when having only the WooCommerce plugin active, all custom code temporarily disabled, and the active theme set to Storefront?

Looking forward to your response. Thank you. ??

Yes, I tried it too, seems it works when we update our billing address within my account. So I think the issue is with my gravity forms user registration add-on. It’s not populating the billing address country when user get registered.

I haven’t figured out a way to fix it yet will update here once I do. Let me know if you have any ideas too.

    Hi @dc47

So I think the issue is with my gravity forms user registration add-on. It’s not populating the billing address country when user get registered.

I’m glad you were able to find the culprit of your issue here which is the Gravity Forms User Registration Add-on.

Since this is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy), it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.

    Thanks!
