Set display name to firstname automatically

Hi There,

Is there a way to set the displayname to be the firstname from registration automatically? I don’t want to have to show the display name selector to the user on the frontend, I just want to set the default value for the user’s public display name to be the user’s first name (the first name is a required field in my implementation).
