Set featured image as Facebook/Twitter image if available

    I know this isn’t an option yet, that’s why I’d like to see if there’s a work-around for it.

    I would like an option in the Slim SEO settings to automatically pull the “featured image” of a post/page as the Facebook and Twitter image. If the post/page doesn’t have a featured image it should instead fall back to the basic settings (replacement Facebook/Twitter image set in Slim SEO settings).

    Can this be done at the moment?

    Hi,

    Currently, the plugin works as follows:

    – It checks if Facebook/Twitter images are specified explicitly in the SEO settings meta box. If yes => use them.
    – If no => use the post featured image.
    – If post doesn’t have a featured image => use the fallback image in the plugin’s settings

    So, I guess it works the similar way you want.
