“Set featured image” does not appear for all posts

    I have to add featured images to a lot of posts. For this reason, I installed Quick Featured Images today.

    However, in the Featured Image column on the Posts page, only some posts have a Set Featured Image option. The rest of the posts have nothing for this column.

    There seems to be no pattern for which posts have the Set Featured Image option and which don’t.

    No. I disactivated all the other plugins just now and I still have the problem. I also reinstalled Quick Featured Images when all plugins were disactivated, and the problem still persisted.

    Also I’ve tried using both Firefox and Chrome and the problem occurs on both browsers.

    That is a strange thing. The code of the plugin is correct. I can not reconstruct your case on my servers. May I take a closer look to your backend? You can mail me at m dot stehle at gmx dot de.

    Just a note: you shouldn’t ask users if you can look at their backend. It sounded like you were asking me for my login details.

    You are right in saying that I would ask for the login credentials. Another way to look at the backend is not possible.

    But users sent me their login credentials because they needed help and I helped them. Never I did or will hack their sites.

    So I think asking them for that is ok. If they did not want to give me the login credentials it was ok, too, and in those cases I could not help.
