“Set Featured Image” Doesn’t work for me

  • I’m using the WP Bridge theme. And I’ve been working in the back-end for weeks, with no problems. But now that I’ve installed the free version of MECL, this plugin seems to be a little buggy. I’m having problems with the most simple thing….going into a single event, and selecting a Featured Image. Every time I do, the image doesn’t show up (neither in the back-end or showing on the site). As soon as I try to update the page, I get a “connection is lost” error, and the page just sort of times out after a couple minutes. I’ve never seen this “connection is lost” error, ever. But it happens every time I try and select a feature image.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @atticuswolf,

    Can you please share a short video from your issue? so we can understand and check it better.

    For troubleshooting, deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue.

    Hi,

    I’ve recently identified that the issue is much bigger, and is having to do with the WP Media Library. So I’m just working through solving this right now. Once solved, I’m going to reinstall MEC, and try things out again.

    Will update once I’ve tried uploading a featured image.
