set featured image is not working

    Hi,

    Set Featured Image is not working in wordpress WP admin dashboard when the post is edited. I deactivated all plugins, changed my theme, contacted my hosting company bluehost and I am unable to trouble shoot.

    Whenever I remove a featured image, I am unable to set another one. It just stays blank and nothing happens.

    Could you please make a suggestion what maybe causing this issue?

    When I view your site, I get a message that it is offline but since you are using CloudFlare always on, I see the site.

    That could possibly be related.

    it appears to be online now again. It maybe issue with bluehost (they had some server problem today)

    I searched the entire forum trying to resolve this issue, reinstalled theme, reinstalled pluging, reinstalled wordpress, but I am unable to come to a solution.

    Hi Vikok1,

    From front-end, I can’t say anything, but my guess is there is a problem regarding jQuery conflict or WordPress version.

    I have faced same issue in WordPress and in my case Woo-Commerce was the culprit plugin..

    Hi wpatbest! thank you for your feedback.

    I reinstalled core wordpress files and the problem was fixed. After 3 phone calls with bluehost, I was told that my wordpress core files were changed. I may have had some kind of a malware trying to get it and I now changed all of my passwords.

    Hi @vikok1! May I know what do you means of core wordpress files, can you tell me more please? Cause I have the same problem here.

    @bobbyng I recommend opening a support ticket with your hosting company and have them reinstall your core wordpress files, because the support team did it for me.
