Set featured image not working

  • When I click to select the image,the media window opens up just fine.
    However when I click ‘Set featured image’ absolutely nothing happens.
    I deactivated all plugins and got back the default theme,still have the problem.
    I tried A LOT OF stuff ,and yet,nothing worked.
    Any help will be apreciated.

    Well, that was going to be my first suggestion. I cannot replicate this on a fresh install and if you are sure the issue persists with no plugins and a default theme, I am inclined to think it is something server related.

    Are you seeing any console errors? (F12 in Chrome and select the Console tab) Do you have access to your server error logs?

    No Console Errors,I`m communicating with the server support.

    According to the them the problem is on a database level and they cant resolve it either.I will restore some old backups and see if that would help.
