Hello, I successfully sent images as Featured Image to my blogposts, but the problem is I want to set an image only as Featured.

For the present day whenever I send photo, it’s set as featured and also attached in post content. Is there a possibility to remove that image from content and just leave the featured one?

That is one of the features being considered for the next version.
Do you use text or HTML emails? The reason I ask is that there is complexity around doing this feature for HTML emails and I would be interested in knowing how you would expect Postie to modify the HTML.

Hello! I have the same issue as dave500. I would love to use Postie, but i would need only the featured image showing (once) and not show the same image repeated.

I send html emails from Mail (mac OSX). Is there a little code which i could put in temporarily until your plugin gets updated?

Besides this, it really works wonders! I am just figuring out if I can style the text a bit, and sofar everything works marvellous!

    A 1000 thanks!

Sorry, there is no easy way to do this right now.

I’d really really like to see this feature as well.
I just need the featured image for my blog.
I don’t need the image to be replicated in the post.

What are the chances that it could be added to the next version?
    Thanks in advance!

Me too – pretty please ??

Just tried setting the image template to ‘custom’ and cleared the markup box. It works – I just get the featured image and no inline images.

That is a good solution, but means that no images will ever show up in the post.
