    No, the expiry isn’t meant for that – its meant to limit how long you allow listings, so if it ends, they must relist/pay again.

    Employers can mark positions filled from their dashboard should they wish to close to applicants.

    I understand the meaning. But does it have to be obligatory to use all the days within the specified duration?

    Why not use the duration as a maximum number of days to display, before employers must relist/pay again if needed?

    i.e. you have two products. 10 days or 30 days. Employer only wants 22 days. So he buys 30 days and limits the duration to 22 days when submitting. (No need for manual extra work for employer to take the ad offline)

    Have worked with recruiting for more than 10 years. Virtually all employers have specific dates deadline for applications. And want ad taken offline when the application deadline has passed.

    Ok, I’ll look at adding user-defined expiry in the future. For now however, its at least possible through the user’s job dashboard as a manual process.
