Set Menu Order?

  • Hello! Thanks for your work on this plugin. Do you plan to add the ability to set the menu item order so that new Messy Menu items can be placed more toward the top of the admin menu? Perhaps the ability to next a new messy menu item under another existing menu item? Also, adding the ability to open the item in a new tab?

    Also note that, when active, the plugin creates a large gap in the page list. Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/W7caLk

    It took such a long time to get this through WordPress that I really just stopped working on it. I was planning on adding the ordering but hadn’t thought about the other ideas. I really like them though. Once I’ve added them in I’ll give you credit in the plugin :). Let me see what I can do.

    Wow quick response! I had actually edited my original question to add a couple more items…

    Are you submitting plugins too? It too almost a year and a half to get a response. The worst was when they finally did get back to me, WordPress had updated, but I still had ‘Requires at least’ set to the previous version so it was rejected! It’s been a struggle for sure.

    ReOrdering has been added. I’m looking into the other suggestions as well.

    I have a working version where you can add a menu link position number, just need to clean it up. I’ll probably need to take out the manual sorting once this is released. It was a nice temporary thing but really gets in the way once you start adding the positions ?? Will release soon.
