Set points for won

    Hello,

    I’m strugglign to set up a basic league – I have columns won lost shots for and shots against, but in the league table it says all 3 teams positions is ‘0’ and I can’t figure out how to award points for a win/draw? The tutorials are so basic they don’t help actually figure out how to get things working.

    Any help appreciated! What am I missing?

    Hi @stevebbowls,

    First of all you need to create your Event Results at SportsPress->Configure->Event Results. For exampe, you can create a “Goals” result in which you will add the total goals of each team particapated on the event. You need to declare “Goals” as the “Default” result (for auto calculate outcomes).

    Then you should add your outcomes (Win, Draw, Loss) at SportsPress->Configure->Event Outcomes where you will add a condition for each outcome (for example The team with Most Goals in an event is assigned the Win outcome, while the Team with Less Goals is assigned the Loss Outcome).

    The last step is to create your Table Columns and arrange the sorting criteria. Go to SportsPress->Configure->Table Columns and create your columns. For example you can create a “Points” column with equation “Points = Win x 3 + Draw” which will add 3 points for each win and 1 point for each Draw. On the edit page of your column stat you can set the Sort Order criteria (see picture below):
