Set product image automatically default

    Hi,

    Hope you will be well.

    Can we have the “set product image” automatically default to the media library images?

    Beacusase, we have lot of products for a single category. So, again and again, we have to set a product image.

    We need to set only a single image for a product then other products will be showing the same image. Which will belong to same category?

    Please check and let me know. How it is possible?

  • Try to google it, there is ton of plugins doing that like this one:

    Make sure you do your testing on test site first before you mess up your production site with bulk editing!

    Can you check the below issue for me?

    Would the default have been changed for the ‘set product image’?

    If I click on “set product image” and it does not default to the images in the library but to a screen that says “drop files to upload or select files” and then I have to click into the library.

    Please let me know. Is there any functionality changed in the latest WooCoomerce plugin?

    I’ve also tested as disable all the plugin except WooCommerce and switched to the storefront theme.
    But still have the same issue.

    Hi @lsingh. When I click on “Set product image” in WooCommerce, I get the following – https://d.pr/i/WxrRzT

    It is possible that your theme has changed this behavior. You can test on a staging site to see if changing your theme also changes the behavior. We have a conflict testing guide with some useful tools that may help you here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
