Set Screen Option By Default

I have a multiuser site where registered users can submit post etc to my site.
What i have then done is used adminize plugin to block section of my site to different user privaliges ie author setting.
what i have also done is disable the screen options etc also so they can add widgets etc.
but what i need to do is be able to turn off widgets for all users set as “author” so all they get on the home screen and wrote posts and edit post etc so they have only what i want them to have ie, disablethe SEO box (as i want them to use my settings), turn of the twitter box etc etc
how can i do this?
