Remember the slideshow can only occupy the dimension based on the div container in the page.

This doesn’t work, because the ratio is always different depending on the screen size. I think there isn’t any solution for this problem, am I right?

unfortunately this is the same. You can only choose for a fixed height or a ratio between width and height, but not 100% width and height. I think I should search for another plugin. Thanks for your help.

Maybe a last question, is it possible to manipulate the css of the plugin to alter the height manually?

I think you should be able to. Just need to play around with the CSS settings and the theme.
