• I get it, we all need security. But here’s the deal, we have a series of internal wordpress installations and a single account needs to access all of them. (I didn’t set this system up and cannot change it) It seems that the latest version of WordPress has removed the ability for an administrator to set a specific password or for that user to change their password to one of their choosing.

It ONLY allows for you to generate a random password or to regenerate a new random password.

How can I disable this so I can set the set the password to something specific?

Alright, I found that you can actually edit the password, the field was just not editable in Chrome for some reason. Firefox let me change the password just fine.
