Set subject to the title of the latest blog post

    Hi,

    I’m evaluating your plugin and I’m wondering how I can set the subject of my newsletter to the title of the latest blog post. I don’t seem to find a shortcode for that. Kindly advise.

    Hi, no, in a standard email there is not that option since you can add many blocks extracting posts in a newsletter (configured with different filters) so there is not a clear definition of the latest post title.

    Anyway, while composing a newsletter once a posts block is inserted it is kept as rendered, it is not updated if you send the newsletter later.

    BUT when using the automated addon the first post title of the first posts block can be used (in this case, since the newsletter is automatically generated without editor intervention, the subject can be set to be “automatic”).

    Thanks, Stefano. I’m looking at paying for the Pro version. However, it’s unclear from the documentation what happens after the first year. How much does renewal cost?
