• Hi, i playing around developing a new site with WooCommerce, at this address kartclothing.Co.UK, and i cant work out how to do something regarding the way tax is displayed.

We have items which have VAT included and also have VAT exempt items(child clothing)

I need to know if its possible for the VAT exempt items(which have a different Tax Class to all the other items which have VAT to not display the text Inc VAT at end of the price, and say VAT Exempt.

Does anyone know if this can be done?
In my Non technical head, I think you almost have a if statement like in excel…

so IF product has Tax Class “VAT exempt”, then Display tax text as VAT Exempt, else Display Inc VAT…

Any help, advice or direction of who to ask would be appreciated.

  • I’m hunting for exactly the same thing.

Depending on which item is selected, then {display tax ID} next to the price…

Did you ever find a solution for this? Is it a case of putting some php in the template?
