Set the "Posted on" date as a link?

    I hide titles for certain post types. However, the only permalink to a post is the title, so certain posts won’t have a permalink. Is it possible to also set the posted date as a permalink? Thanks!

    you would have to modify the theme’s code for the particular files relating to the post type you are wanting to do that…but this would affect everything that uses that. The meta info code for things like post date, author, comment link, etc are all combined, so this becomes a little complicated. Any modifications made to the theme code would need to be done with a child theme so you can keep getting theme updates without losing your custom changes.
