Set to Disable auto updates but still trying to update automatically

    Hi,
    I need to disable all automatic updates for a website because it is hosted on a protected server and only a user with a specific IP can do updates.

    So I set “Disable auto updates” for core and plugins. But WordPress keeps trying to update the core automatically (and it fails as the server blocked the update).

    Any ideas ?

    Please can you go to the Themes and Plugins tabs and check if the plugin “Auto Update” is set to off?
