    Hello! I’m trying to set up the site kit plugin but when I click on the button “Access with Google” the message “The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: invalid ‘site_id’ or ‘site_secret'” are displayed.

    How can I solve that?

    Hi @mapadocapital thanks for getting in touch. As there can be various causes of this error please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Have you been able to set up Site Kit previously, on this site or any other site on the same hosting platform?
    3. Have you tried a Site Kit reset? You can do this by following the steps here and trying to set up once more.

    Once we have the above I can propose some troubleshooting checks, which may involve resetting the plugin or checking for any possible third party plugin conflicts.
