    Hello,

I have to ask here because I haven’t found information about my topic anywhere.
I want to set up a Multisite Test where to sites are tested against each other.

    How to do that?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Best regards,
    Ismar

    Hi!

I’m afraid you can run a test across multiple sites. You can install Nelio A/B Testing in a multi-site setup, but Nelio will see each sub-site as “regular WordPress sites”, without its being aware that they’re actually part of a multi-site.

Anyway, what are you trying to test, if I may ask?

    Regards,
    David

    Hello,

thank you for your fast reply.
I want to test different themes. I know you have a theme test, but this is not optimal as the themes have different layout functions and sections, also use different shortcodes and also different behavior on some custom coding.

Do you have any suggestion for a soulution?

    Best regards,

    Hi!

Theme testing is complicated. Moreover, all tested themes should be compatible one with the other, because pages might be using certain shortcodes or page templates that exist in one theme but not in the others. Anyway, this situation happens regardless of your setup being a multi-site.

Do you have any suggestion for a soulution?

Unfortunately, I don’t. If you want to test multiple themes across multiple sites, that’s not possible. And if you want to test multiple themes in a single (sub-)site, you’ll have to make sure those themes are compatible (as I just said).

    Regards,
    David
