Hi @numpdog,
Wordfence doesn’t report to the front-end the amount of time a user is locked out to avoid assisting an attacker with remaining login attempts etc., so I suspect that there may be a plugin conflict with another plugin that is active on your login page.
If you are unable to gain access to your site at all, look inside the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename the wordfence directory to wordfence.bak using your host’s file manager or via FTP access to your site.
Then try logging into WordPress as normal and, after gaining access, rename the folder back to “wordfence” before refreshing your browser. At this point you can try to temporarily remove the reCAPTCHA keys through Wordfence > Login Security.
Try disabling all other plugins except for Wordfence and reenabling reCAPTCHA to see if this feature works in isolation. If it does, reenable your other plugins one-by-one until the issue comes back. It’s likely another plugin is trying to keep an eye on authentication so is blocking our reCAPTCHA from generating.
Let me know what you find out!
Peter.
