Set Username to E-mail Address By Default

Hi Support,

My site used to set the newly registered accounts usernames to be the same as the e-mail address, however since activating the Login/Signup Popup plugin, my code snippet for this action no longer works, and usernames are now in the format of ‘firstname.lastname’, which will never work for my customers.

Do you have a code snippet to fix this?
