• Hi Nick,

I’d like to create a reusable block that displays a week after each post is published. Is there any way to show or hide a block after a specific number of days rather than after a specific date?

    Best wishes,

    Richard

    Hi @thefoxile,

Unfortunately this functionality is not currently possible. That said, it is a very cool idea and I have ported it over to the plugin’s GitHub repo as a feature request.

    Best,
    Nick

I was just looking for this functionality. So how is it going, now being half a year since Richards suggestion?

In my case I would like to show a field for a few seconds to confirm a post update. The user is redirected to a new page when updating, and this page is where it would be handy to show an info block for a short while rather than relying on a query string which we do now.

    Fingers crossed,

Haha, well truthfully there has been no progress. But the more folks that ask for the same feature, but the more likely I will to build it.

This does seem like a really cool feature and there have been a few other feature requests related to the Date & Time control. I will plan on exploring this functionality for the 3.4 release (likely late February).

    Best,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Apologies for not replying sooner. Thanks so much considering this as a feature. I’d still be very grateful for the ability to display (or hide) a block after a period of time had elapsed.

    Best wishes,
    Richard
