Set Zoom level of map when no results found

  • Hi,
    I notice that when no results are found, the map zooms to the max zoom level (street view). I think this can be confusing as the user can feel lost – the users location may not be 100% accurate if they’re using zip code search for example and they may end up seeing an area that looks unfamiliar and with no context as its zoomed right in.

    Could I override the zoom level in this situation? I have initial and max zoom level set in the Store Locator settings but these don’t affect the no results found searches.

    The default zoom level when no results are found is set to the “Max Auto Zoom Level” that you have defined in the settings (see screenshot).

    If you modify the max zoom level you may need to clear the transient cache for it to take effect.
