Setting a Future Order Date

    Hello,

    Customers often ask us to set up orders for them to ship on a future date. I want to be able to schedule an order to ship at some point in the future and wait to charge them until that date using their saved payment method.

    I.e. a customer emails me today asking for an order to be placed on October 6th.

    I know there are delivery date plugins available, but these all seem to charge the customer today rather than waiting for the day the order should be processed.

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Based on what you’ve written, I wonder whether WooCommerce Pre-Orders would be a good solution for you. This includes a ‘Pay Later’ functionality that enables you to wait until the release day to charge the customer.
