A number of years ago I put a variety of my photos up for sale on my website using WooCommerce. I set it up so all the photo had the same multiple size options and multiple print style options.

I want to put some prints on sale. The dozens of different photos I have on the site all use the same pricing. The problem is I don’t remember how I set the whole thing up and do not how to change prices nor set up a sale on the photos.

I have since added a few other products and put them on sale, but those were all done individually with each item having its own price structure. So for those individual items I know how to change their price structure, but I have no idea how to change the price structure for the photos which all share the same pricing. How would I do that?

    Thanks

    Pat M.

  • Hello,

You can select the applicable products, and select Edit under Bulk actions to change sale price:

Or, you could also change sale price in bulk via the built-in CSV importer exporter:

Thank you @maykato. I went and selected the six photos I wanted to put on sale. I sent them to 10% off and saved the changes, but the prices didn’t change. Did I set things incorrectly or do I need to do something else as well?

    Hello,

Are they variable products by any chance? For variable products, you’d need to go into each product and change the price in the variations tab:

@maykato I added the variation “decrease sale price (fixed amount or percentage)”. I wrote, “10 percent”. I also added a date to end the sale. Unfortunately, now the price is $0.00. What did I do wrong?

    Thanks,

    Pat

    Hello,

I sounds like you didn’t have existing sale price. Decrease sale price is calculated based on the existing sale price – so it you don’t have any value in the Sale price field, the new sale price will become $0.

If you want the new price to be calculated from the regular price, please select Decrease regular price.

Thank you. I went to change the one that I first it incorrectly and I couldn’t get rid of the variant that made it to go to $0.00. I didn’t see that very listed anywhere to change it (see screenshot). https://ibb.co/4g19kk6

I did go to another item and change that price on that one the way you suggested by using “decreasing sale price.” And it worked! Thank you??!

How do I get rid of the changed when I know longer want the sale price set?

    Thank you

    Hi @pasqualerose

How do I get rid of the changed when I know longer want the sale price set?

To remove the previously entered sale price, please select Set sale prices and click OK without entering any value. That should clear the sale price field.

    Ok. Thank you!
